Hogue Knives has partnered together with SIG Sauer to deliver a full line of quality SIG Sauer branded knives. These fine tactical and sporting knives represent the ultimate value in tactical folders and fixed blades: the vision of renowned custom knifemaker Allen Elishewitz expressed through Hogue's state-of-the-art manufacturing processes. Made in America by American craftsmen, a Hogue knife at your side is a trusted — and trustworthy — companion, an heirloom quality blade combining the best of old-world craftsmanship and design set in the context of modern-day, real-world applications for a tactical blade.
Hogue Manual folders represent the culmination of Hogue's capabilities and experience resulting in a superior balance of fit, finish and function. They have been engineered from the ground up to tackle any cutting tasks you put them to.
All of the materials are sourced in the USA. The CPM-154 stainless steel blade is cryogenically heat treated to a Rockwell of 57-59 then hand honed to a razor-sharp edge. The handles are made from high-quality 6061-T6 hard anodized aluminum with black G10 inserts. G10 as a base composite offers proven durability, is nearly impervious to chemical and moisture damage and is colorfast. Each grip is carefully sculpted for outstanding ergonomics, ensuring that your Hogue knife is comfortable and secure in use.
When deployed Hogue folders are held open with a tough, yet smooth operating button lock. Be confident that every aspect of your Hogue folding knife has been refined to offer the best possible longevity and performance.
The X5 button lock flipper's unique patent-pending blade retention device allows for one-handed deployment and closure without placing the hand in the path of the blade. The precisely designed recesses and curvature of the knife provide a natural, ergonomic grasp when in use.
