Like other Explore Scientific 82º series eyepieces, this eyepiece boasts an ultra-wide 82º apparent field of view that gives users an immersive cosmos observing experience while also facilitating eyepiece relaxation naturally. An apparent field of view this wide allows your eyes to relax and take in your surroundings, making it much easier to observe for extended stretches. As you spend more time at the eyepiece, details will begin to emerge that may not have revealed themselves at first glance. The broad field of view also promotes the use of averted vision, which involves looking slightly to the side of a target object rather than directly at it. This is especially helpful when observing faint objects, because using averted vision puts the image on a part of your eye that is more sensitive to light, allowing you to see fainter images.
All Explore Scientific waterproof eyepieces are gas-purged and O-ring sealed to create a waterproof environment that is impervious to internal fogging and prevents contaminants like fungus and dust from entering the ocular housing. This design makes cleaning the eyepiece a breeze.

Please Pack Your Item Properly placing it back into the original manufacturer's packaging. Then place it with your invoice into an outer shipping box. Please pack it properly so your item won't get damaged in transit.

Securely affix your return label to the outside of the shipping package. Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend you ship via insured ground service with a tracking number. We cannot be responsible for lost packages.
