It uses a Super 35-size (23.1 x 12.99mm) sensor that provides a wider field of view, depth of field and better lowlight capability. Ushering a new era, this beauty is capable of recording 6K video at up to 50 fps or 6K (2.4:1) video at 60 fps; as well as an upgraded 21.2MP still image capture. The active Canon EF mount lets you take advantage of the expansive array of EF-mount lenses available for shallower depth of field and brilliant bokeh.
Big Cinema In a Small Format - Additional shooting options include 5744 x 3024 (5 7K 17 9) up to 60 fps/ 4096 x 2160 (4K DCI) up to 60 fps/ 3840 x 2160 (Ultra HD) Up To 60 fps/ 3728 x 3104 (3 7K 6 5 anamorphic) up to 60 fps/ 2868 x 1512 (2 8K 17 9) up to 120 fps and 1920 x 1080 (HD) up to 120 fps. Essentially a RAW camera, it supports only 6K capture in Blackmagic RAW so you can get the most out of this mighty beast. DaVinci Resolve 16.1 Studio is also included for creative editing, color correction, audio post, and VFX.
If It Ain't Broke, Don't Fix It - Everything else is basically the same as the beloved 4K. Excellent OS, color science, 13 stops of dynamic range, ISO range up to 25,600, and bright 5" touchscreen secure crystal clear Hollywood style movies. Professional audio support includes a mini XLR input with phantom +48V power and four built-in mics, full-sized HDMI port, and all the same inputs and outputs as the 4K.
