The Alesis Vortex Wireless 2 USB/MIDI Keytar Controller is
designed to provide a wide variety of playing and controlling. Vortex
Keytar is a wireless 37-key, velocity-sensitive, portable keyboard
controller, designed to be worn like a guitar and played like a
keyboard. Vortex Keytar is battery powered for use with USB MIDI on MAC
or Windows, MIDI modules, and hardware synths to easily play music
wherever you go. The Vortex Keytar features 8 backlit RGB
velocity-sensitive trigger pads and 8 backlit faders for controlling
volume or other instrument parameters. It has an embedded
MIDI-assignable tilt sensor, a thumb-controlled assignable slider, and a
reversible pitch bend when on the neck.
This controller comes
with a standard guitar strap pegs on the neck and body and a strap to
wear over your shoulder. It also includes a USB dongle for wireless
connection to any MAC or Windows computer. Another add-on is production
software download cards for the following software: Hybrid 3, Loom 2,
Vacuum Pro, and Xpand!2 by Air music Tech, TimewARP 2600 by Way Out
Ware, and Ableton Live Lite. The Alesis Vortex Keytar is all you need to
go aboveboard with your music creation.
