Fujifilm just joined the list with a surprise announcement of their new mirrorless digital camera, the X-A7. Not only is it visually appealing coming in a variety of colors, but Fujifilm’s latest camera features XC15 45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ lens kit. The new compact and lightweight camera, which will be available in mint green, dark silver, silver and camel colors, boasts tons of upgraded assets that will make this one of the go-to products this fall season. Offering fast auto-focus, strong face detection and a power level that can create image stills at 6 FPS. The LCD touch screen on the back of the camera measures at 3.5” and can accommodate different shooting positions such as high-angle, low-angle and even self-portrait. With one charge from its long-lasting battery, you’ll be able to take about 440 pictures, providing tons of exploring opportunities with your camera without charger anxiety. The easy-to-use touchscreen is similar quality in picture to that of a smartphone, and provides you with the ability to quickly adjust the brightness, the degree of background blur and film simulations that will impact your images with a simple tap.
Shooting videos with this camera will come in handy for those looking to film action-film content. The X-A7 is able to create smooth 4K movies and high-speed capture for epic playback. It also offers its new 24.2MP APS-C CMOS image sensor that has 8.5 times more phase detection pixels than the brand’s previous sensor. With the use of Fujifilm’s Camera Remote app on your smart device, you will be able to connect and transfer files, data and videos with simple taps. According to the brand, you will be able to transfer your data eight times faster than other wireless communication transfers.
The X-A7 is now available for pre-order and will be available for retail purchase on October 24.
